Ettringite, Andradite

Description

Crystals of ettringite on a shallow more or less flat shelf of orange andradite. The ettringite has hexagonal prismatic crystals with some of them doubly terminated. The yellow colour is slightly muted for the species but remains fairly bright. The largest crystal to 0.5cm.
